This one won’t be a long post but I must pass along a great point from Adrian Rogers. I’m paraphrasing but, he says that God doesn’t want us to go to hell. If you’re on that path today, Calvary stands in your way! That is a powerful picture.
I imagine a person walking down a crowded road. Up ahead there is a cross planted right in the middle of the road. You can’t miss it. In fact, you have to go around it to continue on the road. And thats exactly what the crowd is doing. God gives us a choice to choose Him. Jesus suffered greatly to make it happen. Once presented with this gospel message you have to choose to embrace it or go around it.
